What this workshop covers

Our Stay Home workshops are based on our live Zoom Stay Home Sundays, but with the added benefit of being able to download them and enjoy them in your own time, at your own pace. They take about three to four hours, with breaks, and include time for you to write with guided exercises based on the workshop theme.

The 8 character archetypes we explore in this workshop were defined by Joseph Campbell in The Hero With a Thousand Faces (Pantheon Books 1949). We will look at the roles of the hero, the mentor, friends and allies, the shadow, the herald, the trickster, the shape shifter and the threshold guardian. All you need is your laptop, a notebook and pen, a quiet room and some undisturbed time to yourself. Our expert tutors Kath Morgan and Jane Moss will provide the rest.
